*Droool* :eek: :eek: But on a serious note, OH MY GOD! That is...stunning ! I have trouble finding adequate words, but if someone says that a knife cannot be art because it is a tool, this should prove them wrong. Is that mosaic damascus by any chance? I'm curious about it.

It appears so to me, but I'm not 100% sure.

I'm curious what the wood is as well, looks to be snakewood to me.

I checked BladeGallery. It is Mosaic with pure Nickel as one of the metals. Once again: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: !!!

Yes this is a Mosaic Damascus Blade with Ying/Yang and the Chinese calligraphy characters of Truth, Enlightenment, Benevolence, and Destiny forged in the steel with a jelly roll flower and "W"s border. This is the technique used in forging the Spyderco anniversary steel. The guard is of Devin Thomas's Mokume Gane, the handle is Snakewood. This is to my knowledge the first piece of steel made using a geometric progression system that I developed. This is a development from Daryl Meier's Calico Rose technique. The blade has a traditional geometry that was a lesson in itself in 3 dimensional balance. I'm glade that you like the piece...Take Care...Ed
