Here are the ones that I've found work here:

: ) <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> ; ) <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> : ( <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> : P <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Type the characters without the space in between <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>.
