I bought one at the PX here in Kuwait. It's a change from the prior. It actually has steel scales inside of the frn handles! Any thoughts?

Love mine. Was using it this weekend to score plastic garden trim to cut to length. Very comfortable in my hand. What edge configuration did you get?

Congrats and enjoy Ray ;)

Personally I find the Endura 3 fits my hand way better, but that's just me :o

You stay safe there ;)

hi there,

Today the Postmen dropped a package with my new SS Endura 4 PE.
I must say this one fits my hand very nice and for some time it will be my EDC. :)
The blade looks kind a bulky but the handle is very sleek, but has a nice grip, just what i want in a knive.
So tonight will be lots of playing with the E4. ;)

kind regards,

Werner

Overall, I would say the Generation 4 is a major improvement over the earlier versions. The new pattern on the scales gives a LOT more grip than the old. The traction grooves on both the ramp and the handle behind it are an excellent addition. Four way clip mounting accomdates all needs and tastes. The 13mm hole is an improvement over the old 12mm version, but must admit I wish they'd taken it all the way to 14mm while they were at it (figure it must be possible if they can do it on the Pacific Salt). Mixed feelings about the screw construction, know that many folks like it and that it can be a help if the knife gets grit in the wrong places (which I imagine can happen very easily in the part of the world where you are right now), but to me it's a potential place for something to go wrong.
