My knifeshop got a Spydie plaque!

Recently, I visited my favorite knifeshop, "the Old man" in Amsterdam. I was surprised to see that among all the Spyder goodies, was an award-like plaque from Spyderco. I believe it was awarded in June for excellent display of Spyderco products. The people who work there are first rate, knowledgeable about all of the knvies they sell. Plus, they have a wide selection of almost all knifebrands, including some customs. Anyway, it's great to know my favorite shop got the official recognition it deserves.

Sal: I figured as much, since you left your business card inthe display case. Maybe I'll get the chance to meet you there sometimes.

M. Zlobotsky: Walk to the monument op de dam, if you're going to the kalverstraat from the central station. with your back to the central station, turn right into the street in the far right corner (Damstraat I believe) in that street it's not far, watch your left side. Do not be misguided by the "chemistry sets" on the first floor. Take the creaky stairs up to the second floor and voila: Knife Heaven! Feel free to Email me, I will look the precise address up then.

This is it! The Old Man has lot's of Spyderco's in stock? Good...

I used to visit it but I wasn't interested in knifes at that time. Now I am, so the next knife shop will be The Old Man.

What's the price of their Harpy? Any idea? Hope it's below 170, cus then I'm buying at their place.
