BLADE SHOW EVEOK people my plane leaves at 5:45am on the morning of the 15th. I haven't heard anyone else say who has or has not decided to go to this most important of events.
So far I have 5 of you and one possible surprise guest who have said for certain and 3 who have said maybe. I always get there a day ahead of time. I like to get lined out in advance of who is going to be where and what festivities they have planned.
If you all have already made your reservations and so forth I got the phone# ( you can PM me to get it) of a shuttle service that takes you directly from the airport to the Waverly ( or any other hotel in that vicinity). It is called the A&M shuttle. They are the only way to go> believe me on that one.
I'll be staying at the Waverly if you want to flag me down.

I WILL be at the Great Blade show. :) The anticipation continues to grow.
This past Monday the Doctor removed my neck brace :D and put me into a soft collar. I am trying to get my strength up for all the walking. The only problem is going to be money to spend :( , but I have always been able to hustle up some money when needed.
Looking forward to seeing you JD and also meeting TNK.....

This will be my first knife show in years, really looking forward to seeing everyone there ;)

I am flying out Friday the 16th at 6am!! I will be in Hotlanta at 9am.

Yep, next year I'll be there... even if I have to call in dead to get time off(do build up 1.25days a month, which SHOULD give me a 6 day break by the show next year). Hopefully I have everything paid off and enough saved up to bring home a few toys.

And I agree with alex... bring back uncensored pics... especially one with the spydie forum group if you can somehow manage it(maybe all meet at the spydie booth at a certain time).

Just got home from the show a little while ago and... WOW! The show's twice as big as it was the last time I went two or three years ago. The Spyderco booth had a nice display set up and some really nice stuff in one of the display cases with a "No Pictures Please" plaque in there so I assumed those were works in progress for future production. There were a lot of folks there for a Friday, so I imagine Saturday and Sunday it'll be packed. One of the knife makers I know gave me another VIP pass, so I may go again tomorrow ;)
