VG-10 Delica and Endura

I am in the market for a ss endura. Will it have a VG-10 blade if so I would rather wait on it.

I've been hoping for a VG-10 Delica but have heard nothing about it.
If it is ever produced I'll be the first hammering at the door for mine <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Especially if it has a G-10 handle <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I just spent half an hour looking back through threads via the search mechanism. Believe I used VG-10 for the search. First mention I found of it, was one of my own on 8/28 or so, but obviously after Sal had mentioned the change.

I thought Sal said it could happen as early as September. But am much more likely wrong than right. But, I do remember thinking that I didn't have very long to wait.

Of course, I was sure that Sept. was the relase date for the diamond sleeves on the 204. Wrong! Early 2002 now.

I wish this software had a bit more sophisticated search mechanism. Would make such things as this easier to find. Of course, with my luck, I'll finally find Sal's post, and it won't mention dates at all!

EDIT: Went to BladeForums.com, used search feature with poorer results than expected or liked. In my mind, Sal's announcement that the Delica and Endura would be getting VG-10 steel, was very recent. Well, it may well have been a bit more than a month ago.

What I did find, was that the dealer catalog goes out in October, and should contain all such information.

Dennis? Can you get one and be a fount of knowledge?
