I thought I handled last years event with Rita pretty well. Guess again, when they showed the flight plan of Alberto yesterday, I got a quezzy feeling in the pit of my stomach. No one in the southwest corner of the state was not effected. This is going to take some time, I guess.
My heart and prayers go out to those in Florida now who are in the path of Alberto.

Gull Wing: I CAN totally understand having hurricane anxiety. I would too if I were in your shoes. Prayers go out to all who are in the path of the latest hurricane, and to you!!

i'm near Tampa and it got a little hairy yesterday night but it all seems to have passed. nothing terrible. i doubt it's going to be the only storm we have trouble with though.

The weather folks predicted that most of this years hurricane
activity was going up the eastern seaboard, but from what I've thus
far seen of Alberto it's moving too close for comfort to the Gulf States
( again! :( ) Hopefully FEMA'll have it's $h*t together for any forthcoming
disasters...
...and, if not, just look at the aid that poured in from private sources
and fellow Americans!
Sit tight all.
