Hello all,

A long time ago, when I used to get my great Ironstone catalogs, I once received a sheet of sale items from Ironstone. It contained a couple of folding knives marked "Hiro" which were abalone interframe folding knives. There were two sizes, one about 2.25" long and a bigger one, about 3" long. I bought two of the small ones, thinking I could buy the bigger one at a later date. Well, I never got another catalog or sale sheet from Ironstone. These little knives disappeared from the market.

They are now available from AG Russell, but they are marked "AG Russell" not "Hiro". I want to find one of the larger versions of this beautiful little knives with the "Hiro" mark on it. If anyone knows where I can find one I'd appreciate it very much.

Thank you. I hope someone out there knows what I'm talking about!

Hi One Hand Clapping. The AG Russell piece is the same piece made by the same maker. WE used GIN-1 in the blade. I don't know what AG is using. When we made the knife, we preferred to use his name. Hiro Masui is an excellent artist as well as knife maker.
