recently we ordered a bunch of new hardware at work. i managed to get a maxed out top of the line 20" iMac. up until now i have been using a 12" iBook connected up to a second monitor, a keyboard, and my tablet. it's a nice iBook. a G4 1ghz PowerPC with 1GB of RAM but even running through Rosetta Photoshop runs circles around my iBook when run on this dualcore Intel 2ghz iMac. i am very happy with it.

oh and the remote used to run Frontrow attaches via magnets to the side of the monitor so you don't loose it. very cool.

here she is with the mood lights on... how it normally is... we don't use the florescent lights.

and one with the lights so you can actually see. excuse the boxes we just got in a bunch of new hardware, so there's boxes everywhere.

Very cool. I LOVE APPLE! I gotta save up and upgrade from my PM Dual 867, she's starting to show her age.

Nice new Mac! Great screen and very small profile. i bet it's really quick too.

I wish my crt and desktop would vanish and something lcd would appear. :) My work won't be getting me anything unless what I have starts on fire!

i'm lucky where i work in that we always have very up-to-date tech. i work for the Florida Center for Instructional Technology. part of our mission statement is teaching teachers up-to-date technology so we really have to be outfitted with at least fairly new stuff. i've only been here for about 6 months and have already seen two waves of new computers.

ive always liked apple's engineering/design but didnt like the lack of game support. Very nice setup you have.

I just got a 12.1" laptop, love the small size/weight and portability.

with any luck when the shipment of black macBooks shows up i'll be able to snag one to replace my G4 iBook. :D

Chucula: no so much an issue now that you can run Windows on a mac, and it's not so much Apple's lack of support for games so much as games lack of support for Apple. Blizzard for example has always released thier games for Mac's.
