Finally was able to get on the wireless in the hotel before I call it a night.
Anyways...for the past three days it's been

face: eyeglasses

front right: wallet, black uni ball pen clip showing of course

front left: Samsung cell phone

rear left: map of Illionoi folded so bad I can't get it to bo back to normal

rear right: mead red pocket notebook
I feel almost naked without any spydies

Now to the brief case, this has somewhat interesting stuff

front pocket dback up uniball pens(red, blue, and black), back up blue pocket notebook, eyeglass cloth, laptop screen wipes, map quest direction to everywre I had to go the last three days, and rental car keys

Main compartment: laptop when i am not using it, and training manual for automatic transfer switches(ATS).

Carry on suit case:(you might want to move on) clothes, shooter glass and thembal sourviners(I know I spelled that wrong) from Sear's tower, toothpast, tooth bruch, mouthwash, oh and did I mention a huge reference manual of all the ATS's I'll be working on form 1940's  to now  no joke(its takes up most the space in my carry on, and it won't fit in my briefcase).

Jonny: Trust me.. I know what you mean when you say that referance mat'l takes up most of the space... thats the whole reason I'm using my briefcase :p Got tired of carrying the 3" of notes and schematics in my hand.

Luckily most of our data is kept on the network and can be called up at any time(and from any bench), or we'd all be carrying a few binders everywhere for each product(between board layout, schematics, parts lists, fixes.... etc... ).

For the last few days, I've been carrying an alox SAK Cadet, a Mini Prybaby on my keychain and a small Sebenza. I've been looking to pull out the Spur I recently got and switch the Sebenza, though, as I feel like I'm missing something without a Hole in my knife:o .

Vampyrewolf: yeah I know what you mean by getting tired of carrying stuff in your hands. On the good news though the giant reference book came with a cd that I can put in my laptop when I am on site. But some of the schematics that they gave us are not in the referenece manual and they're on pieces of paper that are twice as long as normal sheets.

Over the next week or so I'm going through my notes, typing them up and tossing it onto a cd... printing out the tables and then making a pocket in my book for the disc. still have to do something about the schematics and diagrams, but at least I can go back to my clipboard.
