Since I know there are people on this forum with stores of knowledge far more vast than my own, I would appeal to their sense of mercy when I ask... Do ANY of you know a cure for my irresistable urge to go out and add to my Spydie collection every time I spend any time on this forum?!? HELP!! I've refinanced my car, I've taken a third mortgage on my home, I've sold my children into slavery and I'm on my way to the hospital to harvest a kidney so I can feed my addiction even further! There must be a cure! Okay, so maybe it isn't THAT bad (think I'll keep my kidneys, after all...) Hell, now that my Civilian's on its way (as of ten minutes ago, damn my lack of willpower...heehee) maybe I can put off the urge to fix for at least another, oh, week or so... anyone else have this affliction? Is there one Spydie that sticks out above all others that you just HAVE to have? What is your DREAM Spydie?
They actually PAY me for this??
Obviously your existing spydies are too much of a bad influence on you.
The solution is simple, send them all to me <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
No, obviously the best solution is to send them to ME. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Otherwise, there is no cure... <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Let's enable ourselves for a moment shall we. There are much worse (and illegal) habits we could suffer from. Drugs, alcohol, buying POS knives, etc.. The way I see it, I'm doing society a favor by harmlessly collecting blades.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!

There are a lot worse things I could be buying...
Drugs, Beer, Smokes, Gas, and other forms of entertainment.
By buying knives I keep my wallet far too empty to buy anything else, and when it fills up, I have to go empty it again.
My next 3 spydie purchases are thought out...
Calypso jr, plain
Military, 440v, plain
204
only: 130+210+100... What else COULD I do with $450! Thats the question...
We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

Hi Fyre, welcome to Spydieland, where all things are possible! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
I've a list of around 10 Spydies I want to buy when I see them, but lack of Spyderco dealers nearby (nearest is 23 miles) keeps the need in check.
Just take a Spydie you have, and really put it through its paces. Learn everything there is about its limits, then test those limits. After a time, your knives will seem so bulletproof that the urge to add more will at least be delayed.
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.
