I understand that attendees of MBC Levels 1 & 2 get to choose either the Delica or Endura for their training and live knife. If this is correct, I was interested in learning which knife was being selected most often, and in what blade configuration?

Best regards,

Argyll

Greetings Argyll~

The majority of our students have chosen the serrated Endura. It's a personal choice as to what size knife you feel comfortable carrying. And, what's a Spyderco without a SpyderEdge <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Dear Argyll:

The Endura is also a good choice in that the slightly larger blade and greater blade weight make learning MBC basics a little easier. The larger blade is a little more forgiving as far as accuracy and the greater weight aids in learning opening techniques.

Ideally, you'll want to choose something that comes as close to your carry knife as possible. If you've already made that choice, compare it to the Delica and Endura and look for the closest match.

Stay safe,
