"Forum Model?"

I are stupid...and a new guy. Would someone please explain what the "forum model" is? Thanks a bunch.

A special Military made for the forum members to commemorate the start of these Spyderco Forums. 500 plainedged models were made with an inlay of white mother-of-pearl.
I got #10 <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Thanks for posting those pics, Chinook. First I ever laid eyes on the forum version. Gotta say it improves the look of the Military about 50%, or more, in my book. Think maybe I'll have to start watching for one to come available one of these days when I have some $$.

Yes Stare, the spydie inlay sets the black G10 off very nicely. I haven't seen many for sale. They were $125 originally back in January of this year, a very good buy.

The Military Spyderco Forum 2000 model came out the first of this year. They were snatched up pretty quick I belive.
