Yes, in a heartbeat, although it may be lots of heartbeats before delivery as I feel demand for this knife would far outpace production.

In its current form, the Military approaches perfection but would move a little closer if a smaller version were offered. To those of us with average to smaller sized hands, this is a BIG knife.

Something around the size of an Endura, 440V, with G10 in dark burgundy or some other classy dark color.

Precisely my opinion too. As it is now, the Military is a bit too large for daily carry and it&#180;s a shame because otherwise it&#180;s so exquisitely wonderful with it&#180;s flatgrounded blade and slender yet robust look. I&#180;d choose a non serrated version and of course G10 or carbon fiber scales.

I would. But only to put in the collection because the native is a great left hand carry with the military in the right hand where would one carry it

ABSOLUTELY sign me up.I trust my military more than any other to do the job when I need it done,and a smaller version would be so much to have.I just don't see a possible improvment ever in the military so lets get jr. out here to stand up next to the big boys i'm sure we will all be pleased with the end result.

I think I remember reading somewhere on Bladeforums that a Mil jr model was already on it's way to &quot;testing&quot; with a ~3 blade. It was described as being a chopped down Military, not a downscaled version. I can't wait to see one <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Paani, you&#180;re right, there is a test model! On another topic here (New steels), Sal has indirectly confessed, that the Co. is testing a small version. In other words; there will soon be a Jr Military! The steel Spyderco has tested so far is, accordingly to Sal: BG42. I hope the Co. changes it&#180;s mind and chooses 420V <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

The Blade was described as being just bit longer than 3 inches. If I remember correctly, the design of the knife required that extra fraction of an inch in blade length.

I also seem to remember hints that a small test run might be made available through one of the Spyderco forums <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Hm, that would be something Paani. I&#180;d be the first one standing in line <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> Yesterday I ordered a brand new Military C36SPE by a local dealer. Hope it arrives soon...Had a used Military before (the old batch) but dropped it into the water the other day, while fishing from a boat. The deep at the spot is about 80 feet <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I've got a plain-edged 440V Military, and it's a GREAT knife, but it's a little on the big side for me for every day carry. I'm kinda scared to whip that big sucker out around others! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
