I don't know much about manufacturing so perhaps this question is a bit boneheaded.
I am curious how pivot rivets (on the Spydercos that don't have adjustable pivots) are installed so that they are neither too tight or too loose. Is it the case that the thickness of the blade washers and handle vary so little (close tolerances) and that a machine can reproduce the exact rivet length each time that this is just a trivial issue? Just curious. Thanks in advance, Alan
