Please make lots of the Bob Lum fixed blade (SP FB04). I think the demand is going to be very high. Very nice work.
Thank you so much for this!
They all look fantastic!

Just kidding. Great job Patti and Gail! really appreciate them.

When is the SP C66 Vesuvius going to be in the dealers hands so I can have it in my hands.
This is NOT fair. I've got THREE Spides on order now. Looks like it will be more soon.
I need that Vesuvius now! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Great new models, thanks for the photos. My list of "things to buy" is growing at a dramatic pace... my money does not grow that fast! Yikes! <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

I really like the lines of the Vesuvius & the Lum-fixed. Might even buy them though they're not hawkbills.

The Lum Tanto FB is a tad over 4" in blade length. The Perrin Bowie is 5" in blade length.
Thanx Gail, Patti & Christopher for getting those great pics on the forum.

Sal, will the Perrin Bowie be blade heavy enough for chopping, say similar to a Puma White Hunter or Cattaraugus 225Q?

Love that Lum!!
That is one I may have to get two of, like the Morans, just too nice to only have one!
Hi Glockdoc. The Perrin is a light knife. It's a very efficient package considering the blade length. The steel (VG-10), the blade length (5"<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> and flat grind will permit the geometry for light chopping, but due to the overall lightness of the knife, more force would be necessary. On the positive side, the deep finger choil and Kraton inserts provide a great deal of grip and control over the blade.

Beutiful......!!!!!!!!
Your blades have always been a work of art, your handles have mostly been plain(no complaints, they still beuts), but now that I see blades like your Meerkat I must say I love the handle designs with the cutouts.
Looks beutiful and sure itll cut even better.
Thanx guys
Keep well

The SP C64 Meerkat looks a lot like my Pegasus ....
Thank you for the pictures. I like the detail put into the handles. What will the sheaths be like for the fixed blades?
Take care,

Finally, the Vesuvius we have all been waiting for. Putting in the Spyder inlay means I can finally accept the FRN handle material.
Bob Lum blade is great.

The Temperance looks like it has a black G10 handle here. Are the production versions still going to have olive drab G10?

Greetings Carlos~
The Temperance does have an olive drab G10 handle.
Aloha~
Patti
Hi Stu. The Lum has a leather scabbard. The Perrin is planned for kydex. We're working on the sheath now.

Thanks for the pics on the Temperance. I think this was the first clip side picture I have seen. Now I only want it more. Incredible design. Thanks for the pics.

Is the inlay on the Vesuvius a mother of pearl or another material?
Can't wait to get that one.

Ok someones got to ask. Personally I trust spyderco so I really don't have any concerns about the quality, materials, sizes etc.
I want to know how much it's gonna hurt my wallet. Specifically the Perrin and the Lum.
The lum by the way is georgous. I am interested in buying both but I wanna know how much?
oxxxxxx{------------------------
Hi Ricky. It's metal, a type of silver compound.
Hi Chambers. I don't have the confirmed prices, but I'm thinking the Tanto is about $150 and the Perrin, a little less.
