today i'm not feeling so hot so i totally forgot to grab a pocket knife and the ball point pen i normally carry. i feel really off because of it in addition to feeling a bit under the weather.
at least i have a Byrd on my keychain.
Yep, the last time was Chad's Subcom F. I felt something was missing all day long. Sure felt good to get it back in it's proper place.

Have a mind like a steel trap. Sadly, the trap rusted in the open position years ago, so yes, am just thankful that I've yet to forget my pants. But I do compensate for the "occasional" brain-fart by keeping one :spyder: in the car and one in my desk at work. :D
It does happen :(. Thankfully, not to often. But I keep a beater in my desk.

lets see...
*spur on neck
*crkt m-16-01 (CF) in locker at work
*keyring 1: vnox classic, garrity keychain light, car & house key
*keyring 2: LM Squirt EL(wirestrippers :D ), swipe key for work, car & house key
*toolbox behind driver's seat: vnox classic, wenger version of vnox climber
*byrd pelican
so in the event I don't change into my jeans before work, I still have 6 available ;) keychain 2 is the one I need for work, otherwise I can't even get in. keychain 1 is my weekend set.
Little hard to not have a knife at work when you have backups. Only been a few times that I have run out the door without changing into jeans anyways, but backups never hurt.

Heck ya, I forgot my Delica on the dresser in a hotel last Dec., but they did mail it back. Even so, it was a bonehead move on my part.

hehe... been there. Last week, I forgot both my police and my TOPS backup blade. I spent the whole day absolutely certain that that would be the day when I would need a knife most simply because I did not have one. I dodged the bullet fortunately, and I was inconvenienced only by the fact that I had to use crappy box openers to open boxes at work.

Dear Friends,
I cannot recall ever forgetting my knives, at least not all of them at once. One or two occasions saw me without my SAK, but the :spyder: in my right front pocket is ALWAYS there.
My having OCD helps with this issue tremendously. I have a single drawer where I keep all of the EDC items I require to get through the day. When the drawer is empty, I am ready to go out; at night, everything in my pockets goes into the drawer without fail. Simple and relatively foolproof.

Usually I don't forget them.
Just feel sorta naked without a decent knife on me.

my wallet and keys hang next to the knife rack on my wall along with my ring and braclets yet somehow i managed to get both sets of my keys, both braclets, my ring, and my wallet and yet forget to grab a knife. i feel terrible though which may be part of it. got some work done, hit some milestones, then went home early.

I've forgotten one of my knives before, but I've never forgotten ALL of them at one time. The SF and Spydercard never are always with me, as well as whatever I decide to carry on that particular day.

I hope I never forget my knife, it would be a very uncomfortable feeling.
What I need is a Jester for my keychain, that way I'll never feel "naked" in the event I forget to pack my Spydie.
Never forgotten a knife. I always carry at least one larger folder, a mini Leatherman multi-tool, and a Surefire.

I don't ever forget my knives....Even today I went for major Dental surgery (had all my teeth removed) and was told by family members to leave my guns and knives at home...After saying OK reluctantly...I managed to sneak in a Waved Endura, Subcom F, Lady Bug and A NAA .22 mini magnum into the pockets..and to tell ya the truth I almost felt nakid.........Doc :D

i usually only carry a aluminum handled classic victorinox(what ever those are actually called), a SE Finch or SE Jester on my keychain, and a Dodo/Native/Cento 4/Volpe as my "main knife". i only forgot my main knife and had my Finch and Swiss Army knife but still felt wierd. i always carry a ballpoint pen as well which i find very handy and was as irritated by that missing as my knife.

I usually cant forget my knives, I can forget anything, but not knives.
A couple of weeks back, I realised as I was in the evening in town, that I am missing both my wallets, with money and ID, my house keys, but I had a cell phone (´cause its always clipped on my waistband) and two of my EDC knives. :)
I do have a ladybug on my carkeys, and a jester on my housekeys... However I do feel naked without a "proper blade" in my pocket (nowadays a D4).

I don't think I have ever forgot a knife. I go through a routine every morning to make sure I have everything before I walk out the door.
I have always remembered to take my knife with me. Now if I could just remember to comb my hair!

No, I never forget my knife ;)
But just in case, I have a SS Cricket/SE on my car keys and a serrated FRN Jester with my house keys :D

Me too, I posted a small list next to my front door so I can check and make sure I have everything before I go out. I usually carry a neck knife and one in my pocket so even if I forget to look at the note the chances I wont have a knife on me is miniscule.

I tend to pad myself down to check that I have everything. It seems to work but if I miss the knive I have a spare in the car.
