alot of spyders and no byrds

it seems there's a rather massive number of spyders coming out in the upcoming months yet almost zero byrds. in fact the only one i'm aware of that's not out yet is that large Byrd that has been spoken about but not shown.

perhaps that is because the Byrd line already more than covers all the bases when it comes to basic knife uses?

The same could certainly be said for the Spyderco line. :)

However, there have been a few new Byrd releases recently. The G10 Meadowlark and Cara Cara are two examples.

well, the Byrd line seems less specifically work aimed as well as less collector aimed so it dosn't have the same bredth of scope as the full clipit line (everything from affordable all around utility knives (delica, endura) to high end collectable knives (like the kopa)).
