I totally suck at sharpening, How easy is the sharpmaker to use or learn to use??? If someone has time can you explain a simple way to sharpen a knife using a stone...Thanks

Put the stones in the sharpmaker, put the rods in it too (safety first). The slots for stones/rods are idiot proof. Put them in, take a knife, move the blade in a downward motion along the stone, then move over two inches and do the same thing on the other stone.

It's super easy to use, my nephew (7) knows how to use it.

:spyder: If yer talkin' bench stone angle the knife away from the stone at 20-22 degrees and draw from choil to tip, repeat on the other side. :spyder:
