A lot of variables affect picture size starting with the setting of the digital camera.
1. If I remember I set the picture quality to the second highest or highest picture quality setting. This gives the sharpest features even if you later cut the picture down. If you start with a low setting, pictures only degrade faster as you manipulate them.

2. Picture resizer. A tiny downloadable program from Microsoft.com. I generally resize my pics to the medium setting.

3. He is using image shack to host the pictures. There are several options in Image shack for size of picture to host on a forum...can't help you with other host programs. ;)

If so, I predict a new Chinook in his future. :D

In Imageshack, if I highlighted all the photos I wanted to post at once, you know...CTR+ENTER...then copied to the message box, it shows here as thumbnails. If I did each one alone as a single post, it shows here as full size.

Thanks for the kind comments. I have 50 or more Spyders in the collection. This started out as a project to photograph them all but I was never happy with the results of the photos so I stopped. These 3 pics are what's left of the project. Always wanted to guest host Rocks Sun Pic Show.

Well, not in the photo's. Nothing as big as what's shown, it's a PE Delica.
