Spyderco spydercard

I might buy one to fit in my wallet. How thick are they? 1/8?



Will I be happy if I get one? Anybody have one, like to share your thoughts?

It is an incredibly sharp little knife. I keep one with pretty much everywhere I go. Be careful not to take it on a plane. It can be very easy to forget you even have it with you.

I've just put the micrometer on mine - it's right on 5mm thick (plus about another mm for the small rivets that protude slightly).

I don't actually carry mine in my wallet - I found it a bit heavy - and a little fiddly to get out - but love the design - the blade is VERY sharp as mentioned above.

I have also thought of buying one but when i saw a similar card knife made by mircotech i am tempted to get that one instead. anyone of you have come across the mircotech one, which has a sort of drop pointed blade instead of the spydercard's straight blade?
I have only seen that in the mags.

Also, I found the spydercard a bit not very comfy to hold (a bit too thin). But I am quite sure that given the amount of cards and bits of paper etc in people's wallets, airport security won't really spot it if people want to carry it on a flight...

Airport security would not spot a SpyderCard in your wallet, probably. If you get caught using it in flight, however, or if someone sees it, you are cooked.
