Greg,
It's a sharpener, I think. Cat's eye shaped ceramic, table mount.

Hi Sal

Thanx for the reply. I am a dealer in South-Africa (See WWW.PERTINAX.CO.ZA, what do you think of the Spyderco section?) and get my Spydies from Ramrod (Mark is a great guy and has really helped me in the past year!) and their knive wizz Andrew told me you are not making these anymore. Maybe what he meant was they were not bringing these in any longer. I will have a chat with them as I have had a couple of enquiries of late after I sold one I had in stock to a butcher and now his buddies are amazed at the sheer genius of the design.

To the guys on the forum who do not know what the Galley V is, it is a sharpner made especially for Kitchens, restaurants and Butchers and works brilliantly on LARGE knives. Should be a picture on the Spuderco site?

Hi Pertinax. I am not sure that Mark has ever tried one. Ramrod is a really great company with some really great people. We are fortunate that they are involved with Spyderco.

I'm sure we can figure out a way to get you a Galley V if you want one. Either through Ramrod or SFO.

Hi Sal

Thanx, I spoke with Ram yesterday and they will get me more as I need them, but thanx for the offer. They have one set-up in the showroom but Mark prefers the Triangle.

What did you think of the website? Mark asked me not to include any images of Civilian or Matriarch, why?

Regards

Yeah noway, bud keep the images of the civ and mat, if it wasnt for those pics I would have picked a diff knife for carring around in the street here by work(real scummy area)

Sal, hope you dont intend on telling them to remove those images, if you guys start doing stuff like that you'll lose my business (doubt you will tho <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> )
