My latest score: a CPM 440V Military with silver clip in fairly good condition, for about 95 $. I think it must be one of the earliest models, because of the silver clip and the fact that Colorado isn't yet abbreviated on the blade. Am I right?

Am I right?Very nice Ed, I would agree that it's a very early Military, but am sure there are some here more familiar with the various ways the blades have been marked over the years. Will say the style of engraving on your Military, and the one on the POLICE MODEL marked Police are the only two "billboard" markings I find attractive.

I have just like it, except that it is serrated. I have always been a huge fan of the Military, Endura, Delica, Police serrated blades. I have been carrying any of those for about the past 10 years now.

Very nice catch, edrose, my congrats! I'm still looking for a plain 440 C Military and therefore I know how hard it is to find one in a good condition.
The earliest Military had a 2 screw clip, I guess your model was the 2nd generation.

Peter, you are right, I read about that 2 screw clip somewhere here, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any photos about it.

I'm not the seller and I don't know him, this is only to inform edrose about a picture of a two screw clip on a Military, thanks :)

Don't worry, first of all, my german is fairly weak, secondly I don't even like Spydercos! :D :D :D
If I am not mistaken the first Millies were ATS-34. Yours looks like one of the first run of the 440V Millies though.

If I am not mistaken the first Millies were ATS-34. Yours looks like one of the first run of the 440V Millies though.
CPM 440V has been chosen by Sal for the original Military because it was the the most high tech steel available. More affordable version has been produced with ATS-34 for a while.
The three screw slightly curved clip has been added in 1998.
WhyNot.
