Yeah Felly, you need to get one before they become a "collector's item"....:p ;)
Here's some more of my amateur photos with my Stretch....

I think that symbol on the right side blade of your Stretch is the same one that's on my A.T.R. Anyone know what it means? Is it the blade designer's logo or something?

I agree with you Brian, the Jester is or better 'was' a great little knife!

Too late for fellyr :p I'm a collector collecting the Jesters :D

Hey Peter, you have a great collection of Jesters and I especially like the burgandy micarta. I only have one of those.:(

Very nice. Interestingly, it looks as if the Finch might be the more ergonomic of the two, since it has the choil, though it doesn't have that neat jimping on the spine near the tip. I guess both have their advantages, and the Jester is certainly unique looking.

Peter, that's quite a collection you have. I didn't realise there were so many Jester flavours.

Nice Jester assortment Peter! I have one burgundy micarta Jester myself....no blues, no lime greens.....one pink and one Forest Green one all in Plain edge....
there are quite a few colors available....I believe Zenheretic might chime in sometime....so he can Do the Dance.... :p

Padawan, the Finch is ergonomic too but I do believe I prefer the Jester's more...and it has more usable edge than the Finch.....on the plus side, the byrd steel will retain an edge somewhat longer than the AUS-6 Jester steel....and the SS versions can take a lot more punishment! :)

... I didn't realise there were so many Jester flavours.
FRN in black, lime green, forest green, pink + blue, red from Japan production; Micarta in burgundy and Steel. I think that's all.

But there is at least one 'specialist' in our forums with the whole collection. It's only a matter of time he will post here - I hope so ;) (Zen where are you? :D )

Darn. How did that one get by me? What other models does the symbol appear on? I've never seen/noticed it on anything other than my A.T.R. Apologies for the ingnorant question. I would say it will be my last but I can't lie to you guys.

hey Jake, no worries....it's all part of the Spyderholism!
Here's Sal's initials on the clip of my Lil' Temp and then Eric Glesser's initials on the blade of my Dodo and Poliwog....

Here are some pics of the Diminutive One.....one of my faves....my PE SS Jester... and my... byrd Finch are comparisons...
who which do you prefer: the current PE SS Spyderco Jester or the current PE SS Byrd Finch? I have the Finch and love the choil, but would like the added gripping near the tip for fine cutting as found on the Jester.

Great looking photo's Brian, Peter nice collection!

I much prefer the blade design of the Jester over the Ladybug. How about a Jester Lightweight with the vg-10???

Hey Brian, What are your thoughts on the Stretch? Do you find yourself using it quite a bit? I think the Carbon version is going to be a great knife.

Harry, I kinda prefer the SS Jester more....I like the Jimping and blade shape especially....like a miniature ATR!
Doug, the Stretch is one heck of a slicer......the flat ground blade slices like a bigger Caly 3 with excellent jimping at the spine cusp and forefinger choil....the opening action is slick and solid with a nice 14mm spyderhole...to be honest, I find the kraton an eyesore and though very functional in actual use, it makes the knife a little too "grippy" when trying to pull the clipit out of yer pocket....I'm waiting on the CF version too....I'm thinking about getting a possible Stretch molestation with a wooden handle in the future...

jaislandboy - Great Pics - really nice job on the lanyard. Specifically, how did you finish the hangmans noose with the skull on the end and no extra paracord hanging out of the back of the lanyard?

It looks like you have an extra little stopper in there?

Hey Zen, do you have a serrated stainless on the way? Looks like that would just about finish up the collection for ya!

I am missing both the PE and SE in the SS. Technically I have a PE SS, but it has the spyderweb engraving, so it is considered a variation by me...two holes to fill! Then there are some great customs...I believe Deacon has a "doozee" of a customized Jester.

Just got it, but theres bad lighting, as usual.
I love this knife. I almost dont want to put it on my keys because I know Im going to scratch it up. Its just... a beautiful little piece of steel.

congrats on the Jester THE_INCREDIBLE_....:) nice photos BTW....
yeah i keep my SS "keychain sized" knives separate in my jeans "coin poicket".....usually.....;) but i'll quickly attach keys to my FRN ones....as they are much more scratch-resistant
The SS laydbug3 is next on my Hit List....unbelievably the same price point of the SS Jester with VG10 and all the jimping in the right places.....I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a SE one tonite....;)
