Hello all,
I am just so moved by the tremendous act of kindness from our own spyderco forumite, Doc Snubnose. In the mail yesterday, I received a box from USPS from Doc. Inside was a brand new in box Yojimbo....with a black G10 handle:)! I told Doc that I could not and would not let this deed go unnoticed. Words cannot describe how I am feeling right now from the kind gesture alone.
I am sorry for not posting as soon as I received the package Doc, I have been real busy lately. What I will say is the Yo was taken out examined in awe, gripped manipulated for about 10 minute and immediately took its position in the RFP, to keep me company on a midnight security detail. I will post more after more time spent with this folder. What I will say is that for me this is not another folder and I think somehow, the Doc knew this and knew that this folder would have a lasting impact on me! ;) Well Doc you were right, this has to be the best folder that I have had in my hands when it is evaluated in terms of form following function. I am happy and relieved, but also kicking myself for waiting so long to obtain one!:mad: In terms of evaluation, I do not think I can add more that has been posted in these forums. If you guys want to labor through another one, more so why this is THE FOLDER in terms of a dedicated SD folder for this thinking professional and citizen.....then you guys are going to have to give me a chance to get some sleep. Then I will attempt not to take anything away from the Yo with my proclamation/evaluation. I feel the Yo has to be one of the best SD folders made....for me at this point it is my personal favorite hands down. Let me stop rambling for now and expect to hear more soon! Doc know that I will not be too far from a YO from now on. Thanks knife bro, my respect and utter appreciation to you for this. Take care and God Bless You!:D
