I'm relatively new to the Spyderco family so I have only two. I mention it every post so here it is my HARPY yup it's my fave. below it is my Pegasus that I just bought (the box said experimental but y'all helped me figure out that it's a Pegasus.) and under that is my favorite candy of all time a frozen fun size Twix. two of these three are still with us as you read this. Sydercos last a hell of a lot longer than Twix around me.
View Attachment...
Great picture, thanks for sharing it with us. And yes, Twix bars usually don't last very long around me as well.

Cheers,

Wouter

I prefer my straight edge native for cutting my Milky Ways... and I prefer my Milky Ways to my Power Bars!?!
Do you find that your serrated Harpy or your straight edge Pegasus cuts your Twix better?!?

He he he... Nice pic!

for a frozen twix i would say that my serrated teeth do best. cutting it with my Spyderdo would probably void the warranty. ya know what though I bet a Chinook would do the job. guess I'll have to get one now

Brandon... I don't think it would void your warranty. In fact, I think the melting gooey carmel would protect the blade from corrosion as well as keep the mechanism running smooth.
Hehehe... don't lick the blade, open another Twix!

Brandon,

I will follow suit. This is the lady's latest Spydie. My Mouse, with the candy of preference, Skittles.

The Mouse's proud mother in the second pic.

Oh, and this little camera pretty much sucks, so the photos are not at all good, still, I wanted to share like you did.

BTW, those Skittles... gone!

hey Kahz have you ever handled a pegasus or a navigator? I just wondered how the Mouse is in comparison as a small knife. I saw a picture of a mouse after I had already ordered my Pegasus so I didn't have a choice after that but I just kinda wonder if i'm missing something.

Brandon,

Unfortunately, I have not handled either.

But I have handled other small knives from the Spyderco line and other brands and this little Rodent is really smoooooooooth. It's well-balanced, VERY well constructed, sharp, and _so sturdy_ as any big knife I have handled before. My overall grade for this one 10/10. It's a real winner!

I hope you get to compare them so you can tell me how the Pegasus and the Navigator feel vs. the Mouse.

Samo, you are most welcome. Unfortunately this little camera was a gift as a promotional item, so you can tell how bad it really is. Once I have the money to get a good digital, I will share some more knives.

Beautiful "eye candy" picture Kahz!
Oh yea, the one of the knife was sharp too!

Sorry Kahz, I couldn't resist the temptation... slap me, but don't stab me.

Gary,

LOL! I was just putting a face to the nickname but thanks. I am the proud mother of a Mouse, what can I do... no, I don't call him Stuart Little.

I won't stab you or slap you but take it as a decent compliment.

I need to photograph my other sharp children, tho! They are getting jealous, LOL!

People, share your photos!!!!
