Hello All,
I've probably made several comments before about getting the CF BG42 Mili for my next purchase. I just keep running into the same problem. I could get a regular Mili and probably another Spydie instead of just the one CF Mili. The option of getting 2 new blades is pretty tempting. I'll have a budget of about $180 (max, please no suggestions over this price). I was thinking of a Mili/D'Allara combo. What would you do with this budget? I'll consider any combination of Spydies and also Atwood stuff. HELP!!!
PS: I won't be getting any new blades after that for some time.

As muchas Ilove the Dodo's design, it just doesn't fitthe bill of what I'm looking for. There's still a chance for me to get that though.

You can always buy a G10 Military and I'm guessing the D'Allara will be around awhile but the CF Military won't be.
NGK has them for $159.99, order Priority Mail and you'll have it by Wednesday and have enough left over for some Q at Everett and Jones.
My 2 cents !!!

i say go for the cf millie in bg-42. if you shop around, you can get it and still have enough over for a walmart native, or even possibly a delica, or a jester (or even a byrd). you can still get two knives and still have the granddaddy of current spydies (millie sprint run, IMO).
good luch!:)

I would get the CF Military. I don't own either Military models, but if I had to choose between your options, I'd go for the CF Military.
Personally, I prefer lock-backs; less chance for lock failure, tighter spring (not as prone to being a 'gravity-knife'). So, my dream knife is the G-10 Police model. But that's for another thread.

if you get that mili, you will not be disappointed in the least!
if you get something else, you'll probably also be very pleased... though you may end up wanting the CF mili all over again, and finding yourself in the same position later... :o
i'd say, get the mili. if you get a G10 one, you'll probably just want to "upgrade" later, and it might be too late then!

caly 3 + delica wave.
both are nice sizes for EDC, the delica can be a "beat on" knife or for protection with the wave feature (not too expensive if lost, damaged, etc), and the caly 3 is just a beautiful EDC (what i currently use).
thats what i would buy if i had your amount to spend.
i personally can not see myself spending that much money on one knife. if i lost it, damaged it, etc i would be extremely upset.
