I don't own one, but I believe there is a clip on the end of the lanyard that attaches to the two holes on the clip.
edit: I can post pictures if needed

I have tried attaching the lanyard clip to the two holes on the flashlight clip, but the lanyard clip is too big. Pictures would be great.

thanks,

I had the same problem. The thing is that earlier clips on the E2e have a lanyard hole that too small for even the split ring that comes in a lanyard kit. I had to look for a smaller split ring to put through the holes in the clip, and then attach the clip to it.

Ah, I see the problem then. What I'd recommend at least for now is to find a tiny ziptie and use that to attach the lanyard, that's what I did, oooor, you could find some way to enlarge the holes.

Hello Wouter,

Do you know what the other diffs between the older and newer E2e's?

Thanks,

Nope, I only discovered the difference in lanyard holes when I wanted to attach one.

Thanks guys. I bought a size 5 split ring from lighthound and attatched it to the hole in the clip.

Don't like that location though, I'd rather have it near the tailcap. I wish SureFire made landyard rings for the E series like on the 6P/G2.
