I just got the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. It has Bob Dylan on the cover, blowing a harmonica. Inside, as part of the story on Bob, there's a picture of he and the guys in the band playing cards on the bus. Right there in the middle of the table is what looks like an open Ladybug.
Could Dylan going to one-handed folders be to the knife industry what Dylan going electric was to the music industry? Okay, maybe that's pushing it, but it was still pretty cool to see.

I just hope it wasn't a cheap Chinese knockoff.

Good eye, mnblade!
In case the rest of you don't have access to the mag, here's the photo, plus a closer view from the 11/22/01 issue of Rolling Stone.

Working from the provided picture, If you zoom in _really_ close, the shadeing of the pixels is both the opposite of what they would be on one of the black thumb stud knockoffs, and consistent with a hole in the blade; the Pivot pin size is also consistent w/ the porportions of ladybug.
Besides that, when playing poker, would you let someone ante a knife that small unless you knew it was a quality, $20+ item? Knockoffs tend not to be that small b/c they cannot command a high price, and the workmanship for something that small can get expensive.
