Calypsos on Ebay

There are a couple of C52SBK Calypsos up for auction that have the fully serrated blades, fish scale handles and white boxes. When were these made and is the $40 starting price fair, overpriced etc.? Thanks.

I think that's a pretty good starting price. Make sure that the blade is centered when closed. Calypso Jr's are notorious for having warped or crooked blades. Not sure really why. I just received a couple black ZDP's in the mail and they are straight, however the salesperson did find a few that still had the same old problem. :(

I bought the same knife in question back in 2003 for about $30-35... So $40 is not that bad.

I would date them in the early 2000's (maybe 2001-02?)
