Found a Priority Mail envelope from Chad in my mailbox yesterday. In it were, three new Subcoms...

...which were his end of a trade we made. He also sent along a new Boker catalog. Put the catalog and the envelope on the coffee table while I set up to photograph the knives.

Missy took a break from playing her favorite game, "chase the walnut"...

...dragged them down to the floor, and proceded to cart them off to add to her "stash" of goodies under the couch. Forty bucks worth of ferret toys, among other things, under there while she plays endlessly with a purloined walnut :rolleyes: - go figure :D Managed to snap a couple shots of her in the act...

...waited till she'd tired herself out and retired to her hammock for a nap...

...before recovering it, plus a Kiwi she'd managed to swipe off my computer desk sometime in the past week. :D

I heard they were doing a green and black Subcom, but that really does look grey :confused:

am i missing something? I don't see any pics or links....No, you're not missing anything, there seems to be a problem with my website, or rather with the servers hosting it, at the moment. Got an email from them a few days back saying they would be down for a few hours upgrading the servers. Thought that was suppose to be yesterday, but I very well may have misread it.

Cute Ferret Paul. I have never cared for the Wharncliff blade, but I find myself strangely drawn to the WharCom!! I do need to get one of them!!

Thanks for the pics and the great story, Paul!! Ferrets are so funny!! Have a buddy who has 3 and whenever I'm over they try and eat my feet!!! Maybe I should show them my Subcom and see if they'll leave me alone!! LOL!!!

Chad's description of the knife is CAMO, and he says the green shown in the catalog is a mistake. Yes, it does look grey to me also, at least in most light. In the sun it does have a slight greenish cast to it.
