My computer was down for a while and then once it was fixed, I was on other forums and haven't been around here lately, and I just wanted to say that it's good to be back. Only one new knife since I was gone, a CRKT Stiff K.I.S.S. serrated, and I'm very pleased with it. Great buy for the money, although it did seem to have a devastating effect on sheeple. Several people seemed to recoil at it and wanted to know why I would carry such a "weapon", and bringing up things like somebody that slashed up someone pretty bad with a box cutter and saying that knives cause crime and all that B.S.. If knives cause crime...matches cause arson! ( actually, I borrowed that from the NRA bumper sticker that says "If guns cause crime..."<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> I know lots of other people have this problem, so would you please let me know how you deal with it? I told them that it was not a weapon unless you used it as one, just like a pencil isn't a weapon unless you use it to stab someone, and that knives don't cause crime, but all they did was to ask me why I carried/owned more than one knife and why you needed more than one, to which I replied that different knives served different purposes, and that I liked to collect knives, but they still insisted that you didn't need more than one knife and that it should be very small. Another issue was that it was a fixed blade and what the point of a fixed blade was, but I'll try not to go too far into that one. (I'm still trying to figure out what the advantage of a knife that folds is, I mean I love my folding Spydies, but I just prefer fixed blades) Well...just had to get that out.
