Was it the way you were holding the knife when it folded?? Did you accidently release the lock?? You might want to send it in to Spyderco.

no it wasnt a one time problem with my little lady... almost every day, the lock would fold. Every day got worse, i have officially retired the knife.

I once heard Sal say that if you gripped it too hard it might push the lock...

nope, it cant be the way that i hold it, because i can hold the very end of the knife and the very tip of the blade ond close it just as easily as an Old Timer....yyyeeeecchhh...

I've had one on my keyring for more than a year. It gets used moderately; opening mail, packages, cutting string/rope/ribbon, etc. I have never had a problem with it folding. I just tried to manipulate it and it still wouldn't close on me. I would send yours back to Spydie Land.

I have used my Ladybug I extensively for over a half a year now. No lock trouble at all. Send her back!
