Well, I do! Bought it from the SFO when I visited this AWESOME place last year! Its an excellent knife which I'll treasure for the rest of my life How about a head-count dudes? Do you have any interesting tales about you and the C-01?

A few year's back, a buddy's Worker was nearly my first Spydie. He badly needed cash and was willing to sell it to me at a fair price.
He let me tote the knife around for a few days. After that, I declined and just loaned him the dough instead. I felt it was too heavy and the slim, pointy blade was not at all versatile.
Later, I bought a lightweight 50/50 Delica which I really liked, and now I favor a plain-edge lightweight Endura.

Sam,
I recently bought a worker, and it is part of the several spydies that are in my EDC rotation. What a knife! This one and my Wegner were probably the two sharpest spydies out of the box. The worker is a great knife, nice and slim, and fits my hand
well. Haven't had it long enough to generate
any interesting tales, but I'll keep you updated.

The worker was my first spydie and I carried one for several years. A friend lost his plainedge and couldnt find another so I traded him mine. I bought a serrated one but never carried it all that much.. I sold it last week. I have gotten used to FRN and G10 and actually prefer them now (Calypso Jr and Military The worker was a great knife though...

I have an old plain edge Worker which was given to me by a friend. It was pretty battered when I got it but I carefully sanded it back with wet'n'dry paper down to 600 grit. The late James Mattis had etched a "chai" onto a Worker to give to a paramedic who had rescued children when the child-care centre at James' synagoue was bombed (see picture). When the memorial knife for James didn't eventuate over on BladeForums I had a local engraves sandblast a similar "chai" onto my Worker.
My Worker is now a treasured possession because it was given to me by a good friend and because it reminds me of James. It only gets carried on very special occassions.

I bought my brother a Worker as a gift in 1989...I think it was and he's been usin' and abusin' it ever since. He's cut fuel lines on Bikes we've had, snipped twine with the sharpened second edge, opened mail, yadi yadi ya. He carries it on the side take-up tabs on his leather bike jacket.
That reminds me...I need to swipe it from him so I can sharpen it on the ole Sharp Maker.

My first Spydie was a Worker at the county fair, back in 1984. I know, some of you weren't born then.
I was blown away by that blade profile and the onehanded operation. I then proceeded to pop the tip off prying on a danm rootball of a plant I was trying to divide. I lived with it until 1998 when I visited the Spyderco factory.
I hope I don't get anyone in trouble, butt my guide looked at it and declared it a crystalization of the metal molecules and made a swap for a new one. I'll be mucho more careful with this one. And divide rootballs now with my CS prybars.
