Sal, Kristi? Does anyone have a date on when these are shipping? I have told my dealer that I want two, but she hasn't had good luck with Spyderco keeping her informed of when things are shipping. I have to ask here to find out.

I'm saying just like you I can't wait for this model but I'm not holding my breath that I'll have one in march. Hope I'm wrong and Taz gives you an update that they'll ship out march 1st.

Spyderco doesn't prematurely annouce shipping dates until they are really really sure. Any of 1000 variable that occur when you utilize a global market can cause a delay. Quality control rejects an entire batch, tsunami in Japan, pirates off of Malaysia, blizzard closing the freeways around Colorado for days at a time....the variables are endless.

When a deliver date is prematurely announced, and then gets pushed back...no matter the reason, it peeves off the impatient. Rather than do that once they know, they announce it.

That is the cycle as I have observed it these past few years.
