Hey Zen, great show....we gotta carry on pjrocco's legacy, you know?:)
So the question is Zen, which was your first clipit experience?
Zen, you may not have called them a Spyderco Picture Show before, but you have shared many awesome pictures with us before!! These are also very nice.

Yeppers carry on the Rock's traditions.
First clipit experience, well my buddy gave me one back in the eighties. His Dad owned a bowhunting mail order catalog company that sold Spydercos. Thus was my initiation to a tiny bit of Sal's brain.

I got it, this is your first first spyderco picture show, but here's the question that needs to be answered:
When did you get your second spydie, and when can we see your first second Spyderco picture show?
There's always a first for everything, even for a second or third.

Where has PJROCCO been  ? Hope the ol boy is all right.
Pertaining to the pictures: It is interesting to see how Spyderco's serrations have evolved. It is also nice to see one of those older models in such slendor. Isn't that one the HUNTER model? That is one of the very few Spyders I've never had the priviledge of owning. Thanks for the snapshot ZEN. JD:spyder: O

Yes JD it is the Hunter. I actually had two, one was a user and this was a backup.
My user and I parted ways long long ago. I replaced it with a G-2 Police in SE that I carried for many years.
This little beauty resurfaced recently when my parents dumped off...er I mean kindly dropped off a parcel or two of old stuff I had left behind when I "grew up". :D
I had forgotten what this model looked like. It is a fun piece. Notice the grain in the handle.

The grain is very pleasing to the eye and I like the lack of blade steel stamp.
I'm happy that you got to retain at least this one even though the other is long gone. I personally think the Hunter is one of the classiest Spyders ever made. I would very much like to find one myself. Great photo's Zen and thanks for escorting us down a small portion of your memory lane! ;)

Zen,
What took you so long?
I usually start my picture shows right after new knife arrives. :D
BTW. Grain in the handle and especially in the blade is one of the best attributes of SS in my opinion. It is one of the reasons I like Volpe and Chinook so much.
Thank you for sharing excellent pictures. I especially liked the one with "tiger" pattern on the handle.
I hope new picture shows are coming.
