I guess the subject is kinda self explanitory. It will be a plain edge, and my first real knife... which one would you think to be better?
I would have included the Native II, but the clip in the tip up postiton really gets in the way of my fingers

Edited: Oh, add in the pro grip SS too! I just good look at it off the site, and it looks real purdy (And a great size). BTW- It says it has a "drop point" blade... I've come across this term many times. What does it mean?

If you can, handle them both before you buy.
I have one of each, and have always thougt that the calypso jr is an upgraded delica.
It has better ergonomics IMO and the flat ground blade cuts like crazy. VG-10 is also one of my favorite steels.

The calypso jr. is one of the most mis-understood designs
in the spyderco line up. It's without a doubt the very best
utllity knife spyderco made. The blade shape is a wharncliff
with a hole. This blade shape is very efficent in it's ablity
to be used in precise cutting needed for daily use. But one
now before they are all gone, spyderco dropped them from
the line up due to poor sales cused by the lack of the publics
understanding of the blade shape. The calypso is a winner
from every angle once you use one.

The calypso has aus 8 and the delica has aus 6. And based on me opening alot of them new out of the box the calypso's are generally smoother and get smoother with time and I like tip down on that model as well.

The Calypso is superior! That is all I'll say. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Even though the steel in the Calypso is a touch better and I do like front finger choil, I'm biased and would say go with the Delica II.

The Calypso is a lovely knife though.
