Scored the CF police last week at the Tulsa gun show, Cricket was from a trade this week, Caly came from NGK, and the PE Harpy was from about 6-8 months ago.... Just love that CF....... Reckon I should have tossed in the CF Military to join them... Oh well...

I have the CF Caly3 and really like it. I am hoping for a CF Para to be made and the CF/ZDP Stretch will be added to my collection when it comes out.

Nope.... Other then pulling them out of the safe from time to time to let em breath a little... Out of all my Spydies there is only about a dozen users... :rolleyes: I have to agree with you on CF... You will enjoy the Caly....

Not to hijack, but I think you'll love the Caly 3 Peter. I've been carrying and using mine pretty regularly since it arrived, don't abuse it but don't baby it either, and the CF shows no signs of wear and tear at all. Traction seems a bit better than the shiny stuff, although obviously not as agressive as the peel-ply. However, unlike the peel-ply, you don't have to worry about it wearing a hole in your pocket so it's a good compromise, at least in my eyes.

Paul, I have to agree... Peter will love the CF on the Caly, matter of fact I'd like to call Mary Beth today and order up another...:rolleyes: I like the shiny CF for display but for users, way too slick... I like the grippy CF but to me it just looks like fancy G-10, now don't get me wrong the grippy CF is nice, but the finish in the Caly ROCKS!

Sounds like the new CF is the best of both worlds. :cool:
More grippy in hand than the shiny, yet slides in and out of pocket easier than the peel ply. I can't wait to experience this new CF! My first taste will be with the T-Mag, and then the Caly 3, although I had hoped the CC pieces of these two were going to ship together from NGK. I guess not, since NGK has not gotten in the CC CF Caly 3's. :( Oh well, one at a time is fine with me. Wouldn't want a CF overload! :eek: :D

@ The Deacon and Woody: You say I will love the Caly3 - I tell you what: It rings true, Sirs! Since October last year I EDC a Caly 3 for ~ 16 hours a day and now I'm accostomed to this great design for a pocket knife. I have CF Spydies in shiny an peel ply carbon and as Felly wrote, the new CF seems to combine the best features from both. I hope to have in hands soon!

Once again: great collection Woody - ordering a 2nd Caly 3 CF was a logical next step :D
