HI ALL DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT EMERSON KNIFE'S I WAS LOOK AT THE CQC7BW-BTS I ALSO HAVE HEARED THAT THEY ARE REALY HARD TO SHARPEN IS THIS TRUE AND WHY?

Emerson knives are great. I own 3 of them and they haven't let me down yet. They are top notch on customer service and they have pretty high quality products. Alot of people have trouble sharpening the chisel grind. I have not. I use an alumina ceramic rod and follow the instructions on the website:

I have a waved CQC7, and it is a great little knife. Right now it's one of my EDC pieces, the only problem I encountered with it was trying to strip some wire while under my house... the chisel grind sucks for that job. Luckily I had another knife on me, and it did the job without any trouble.

You shouldn't have any problems sharpening it if you can sharpen most other ATS-34/154-CM knives. The 154CM from emerson is supposed to be a lower hardness than most others, which should translate to easier sharpening, more often.
