This may be dumb question, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what has

been Spydercos number one seller over the years. I was thinking like the Military, or maybe the Endura. Any thoughts?

Good question, I wanna know ooo I wanna know, I am gonna buy one unless it costs more than 100 bucks, but when I buy it will be next year

IMHO,

I believe the "best seller" is the Delica and/or Endura. They've been the mainstay in Spyderco's lineup and are considered entry-level knives. Most people move up to the higher-end Spydercos after their positive experiences with the Delica & Endura.

BTW, the Delica was my first Spydie. I absolutely loved it 'til I misplaced it.

I have since replaced it with Two Delicas and a few others! Gotta love 'dem Spydies!

Hi Red Tornado. Welcome to the Spyderco forum. The Endura and Delica genrally trade off for top sales each month.

What gets the least sales? Does it depend any on the time of year?

I can understand if you do not want to answer.

Thanks,

Some time back, Sal said that Spyderco's best seller is the fully-serrated Delica (at least I think that was it).

I suspect it's possible the fully-serrated version outsells the plain edge version may be due to the fact at most sporting goods stores that sell Spydercos, they usually only carry the fully-serrated versions. Therefore the availability in general is greater.

The Endura would not be far behind.

Also I've seen a fair number of SS Police models clipped to guys' pockets.

(Oops! I just re-read the thread and noticed Sal already answered!) My bad!

The best selling Spyderco for us is the C11PSBK (Delica combo edge)and it is just a touch ahead of the C10PSBK (Endura combo edge.) Next in line would be the plain edges and finally the fully serrated edges.

I believe the primary reason why combo edges are most popular is because that is all many knife shops carry.

For example, I went to a camping equipment store about two weeks ago. They have a fairly extensive line of folding knives. Except for the Kershaw Boa and Whirlwind, every single one was 50-50.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Thanks for the info, where does the military
fit in that picture? I was thinking of having
a military made special for my company.

The Military is a lot more expensive than the Endura and Delica lite weights.

When the price of a knife goes over $100 MSRP, sales numbers dramatically decrease.
