new TV

well, we had a storm the other night and it took out my 20y/o tv. :( So, I'm in the market for a new tv and don't want to spend more then 750$ if I don't have to. I'd like to get something HD. I've looked around a lil' bit, but thought I'd ask the wealth of knowledge here for opinions and reviews.
