Hey all, I've been gone for a while had lots to do and have lots to tell :)
The last time I was here I had just recieved my LadyBug3 SE and gave my old sheepfoot Ladybug to my girlfriend.
I was then called for 3 weeks of reserve service and took my trusy SE Native with me, as usual it performed wonderfully, cut rope, wood, food and anything i asked of it and stayed razor sharp. I also had my Vic Spirit tool to keep my native company and it was also a solid performer as always.
a few days after my return I discovered that my girlfriend, who by that time became my fiance (yay! :D ) is heavily using and enjoying her Ladybug and that it had saved her from a very nasty incident!
She was on a train when a crippy looking guy stared following her and sat very close to her, she moved to a different seat twice but he follows, there was no security around so she pulled out her LB and proceeded to calmly clean her fingernails with the tiny yet fearsom SE, it worked, creepy guy got scared and walked away :D
Some days later we went on a few BBQ's and picnics, my SE Salt1 was cutting meat, plastic wrappings and wood like crazy, not to mention those lemons onions and tomatoes. As usual, no rust what so ever.
The following weekend I went on a 3 day hike in a train with lots of water, once again my Salt tagged along and was incredibly handy - it also freed me from a tough thorny bush that was entangled around my leg and amazed me once more on how easy H1 is to sharpen and maintain!
In between all the "adventures" I was constantly EDCing my new LB3. At first I was a little worried when I got it, the serrations are much smaller than on my other knives (including the old LB and cricket). Upon use all my concerns went away, it cut just as wickedly as any other SE and was easily touched up on my 204, infact there seemed to be an increase in performence, maybe the SE profile is slightly different to better suit the size of the knife. Grip is greatly improved and I love the 9mm hole that i can actually open one handed.
That's it for my ramblings, until next time :D
Hope you enjoyed reading :)
