I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this but there's massive fires in northern Florida and Georgia. Consequently there's huge clouds of smoke over a big chunk of Florida including where I live. The smoke was so bad this morning you could barely see a mile. It's horrible choking smoke. My lungs are burning my throat is sore, my eyes dry, my head hurts. I feel like I just spent the last 18 hours in a smokey club.
It's horrible there's no getting away from it, the smoke is everywhere. This may sound extreme but I wish I had a respirator for the drive to and from work.

The respirator may not be a bad idea "Dedguy". If you do that I would recommend either a 3M or a BINKS carbon cartridge respirator similar to the ones professional painters use. I had to do a big job recently using a lot of bleach and my 3M Carbon respirator probably saved me from getting sick. Bleach really gets to me.
But that smoke you describe is not only wood smoke because you can be assured that the fire is burning and consuming all kinds of items laying in it's path. It's probably burning old tires, landfill items and petroleum products too. Don't take that smoke lightly because I am sure it is loaded with a real smorgasboard full of toxins.

dedguy, I am not to far from you here in FL and it has been horrible here lately! Stay safe and I hope you and your family are safe. They evacuated like 500 families in Columbia county, the Lake City area due to the fires and smoke!
