saw these three listed on ebay... guessing they've started to ship???!!!
i look forwards to the new dragonfly... as well as the SE E4 FG, also allegedly shipping right now... after i get back from a little travelling these next two weeks, it should be time for a new spydie... :D

I can verify that the E4SEFG is now shipping, at least the CC#d ones, got an email from NGK yesterday, on it and the P'kal. Looks like some un-numbered etched Spins, D'flys, and Crickets may have beaten the CC ones out the door.

Well, that's good news:cool:
The Cricket will be the first one to buy;)
Stupid unpatient me:mad: :o , I just ordered a plain Cricket/SE from NGK.
I lost my Cricket somehow and didn't expect the etched ones come out soon:(
Patience is not one of my stronger caracteristics when it concerns new Spydies:o :o

From buying one SE blade, to two SE blades, what's there to complain about?*:D
*Other than your wallet, of course.

Still on the fence on this one. I'd like to get the cricket, but some pictures I've seen don't look as apealling to me as others I've seen. Maybe it is just the way the light hit the sample.

In my opinion, the etched Cricket isn't as pretty as the non-etched. However, they have more texture and aren't as slick.

The Spin Etched has been shipped to my store, only 3 and I had many ordered. I did not receive any Cricket etched (ordered 24) or Dragonfly etched (ordered 12) so IMHO, I don't think the Cricket or Dragonfly are out yet. But that doesn't stop some dealers from posting auctions (with stock B&W pics) when they THINK all of the etched products are shipping when only one has. Those thinking they're going to get a Cricket or Dragonfly etched NOW might be a little disappointed if they win those auctions. The ONLY way to know if the dealer has something new in his possession is to see if he has posted the auction with original pictures of the knives in question. An informed shopper is rarely disappointed. ;)

I've got one on the way from an ebay retailer I bought from on Tuesday. He had it in stock, but I think he is one of the first. Paid $53.00 for it.
I'll post some pictures by the weekend.

Finally got my etched cricket a few days ago to compliment my cricket set. I like it, but I'm still not sure which version I like best. In any case, I think its not a bad collection considering I just got bitten by the :spyder: bug about a month ago!
