Forumites come and go, and as sad as it is, most of the time we never know why, of where they go. She was fond of Simona though, and those two got along quite entertainingly(we have deleted threads to prove it). I can only assume when Simona stopped coming around, Karen stopped as well.

A lot of forumites "just pass through."

PMs don't work all that well for contacting people. If they don't have email notification, they'll never know they have a PM. And many people opt not allow emails from the forum, so getting in contact with them is nearly impossible if you don't already have contact info.

When I went missing for about a month, I got emails from several forum members enquiring if everything was ok. That's one of the things I like about this place. When you're gone, people notice.;)

I think I've seen her at BF this week. Not very sure as my memory isn't that great :(

Googly-moogly it's good to see you back here again!!! I half thought you'd been in a classroom taming rabid young'uns, but glad to hear you've been getting in some travel time.

Welcome back, Karen :D

:) Well Ms. Karen it is good to have you back. Hope your collection is growning and hope your user knives are as sharp as your posts always are. Good to hear that all is well. Be sure to put the Superhawk and P'Kal on your want list. You won't regret either one. JD:spyder: O

Glad to see your doing alright,
this forum has been a second home to many, and it can be worrisome when a member falls of the grid for a while. Its nice to see you have gotten some travel in, and since the school year is coming to an end, perhaps you will get a bit of piece and quiet.
Take care,
J
