If you don't see Samo posting here for the next couple of weeks, it's because he just had a nasty motorcycle accident 48 hours ago.
Samo's currently under treatment at the General Hospital. He suffered a broken left leg in that crash.
So those of you who know him, kindly send some prayers and positive thoughts for his speedy recovery.

That sux. At least it was only a broken leg and not anything as serious as a spinal injury. It looks like you lead a bit of a crazy life from the pics you have sent us. Hopefully he'll be back to his usual self soon and handing out knive to people he meets traveling. I hope you have some good docs and don't let it get infected. I hope you recover quickly your posts are greatly appreciated as is your humor.
I edited my pos because it didn't quite say what i meant it to and was slightly offhand. I have great respect towards samo and everyone else on this forum except those who cause trouble.

Awwww <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
I broke my lower leg (tib and fib) rightthrough andhad toget itset and had a full toe to hip cast for 6 months, and couldn't walk properly for 15 months... it's hard, but samo, if you read this, it WILL get better. It'll seem like notime when you'll be swinging your broken leg around pain free just and having fun on crutches.
Get well soon... and don't forget the "Tylenol 3"

Samo,
Get well soon. I really feel for you.
I snapped my fibula, in a winter accident, almost two years ago. Mostly it wasn't too bad, except when my foot was swolen in the cast. Unfortunately, the swelling had no place to go. Endocet was good for that!
The best thing was when friends of mine moved my third floor office down to the first floor, since that was where I lived for two months. I was connected, which kept me from going nuts!
When it comes time to rehab, attack it as you do everything else. After rehab, I was actually in better shape than before.
G-d bless and praying for a speedy recovery.

I guess the bright side is, he will be back. That doesn't make the pain go away, but with motorcycle accidents, survival is often a victory.
Get well soon, bro.
Hi Samo... sorry to hear about your accident. Hope you have a swift and full recovery. Instead of counting ceiling tiles in the hospital... try to set a new record for non-stop one-handed opening and closing of a Spydie. Don't know that there is yet a record... so we will declare you the world record holder. Get well.

Sorry to hear about your crash dude. Hope things heal well and quickly.
A friend of mine crashed his motorcyle, they put a shaft in his leg and screwed his ankle together. When I crashed my motorcyle a couple of years ago, I didn't get the shaft, but I did get screwed (my akle).

Samo says he is fine but leg still in some strange traction. He appreciates all the great get-well messages.
I think all the positive vibes have gotten to him. He sounded quite cheerful when he spoke to me over the phone a couple of days ago.
He will reply to all his friends here when he gets back home from the hospital.

Samo, well I hope you get better soon, I broke my back ten years ago (L4 and L5) on my dirt bike. Still ride today (rode the rest of that day too) You'll be back on your bike before you know it!
Hey Samo... glad to hear you are feeling a little bit better. You better get into rehab and get bak into shape before June. Otherwise I might have to fill in for you on your next adventure... lol.
Keep recovering,
Gary
