I have been told that it is an engineering wonder, but that it isn't increadably strong.

i am really thinking about getting a meercat, but untill I know i am going to get another delica PE instead.





god gave all pastoors kids a way to have fun.

mine is a pointy peice of steel.

I do not see how you can release it accidentaly. However I sent mine back to spyderco for some work because I was worried about the blade play. I do not know how frequent that problem is.

From what I can tell by looking at my Meerca,the lock is a standard lockback type lock that is activated by the scale rather
than the regular release bar. I would think that the strength would be equal to that of a standard lockback of a similar size.

I think the Phantom Lock is great. A one handed lock back is cool for someone like me, that is always playing with their knives. I'm hoping they put out a Phantom Delica. Sweet!
