View Full Version : The Right to Arm Bears!!

I was just watching a History Channel program on barbarian tech.
An item in passing asserted that among the Saxons, carrying a Sax knife was the mark of a free man because slaves were not allowed to carry weapons.
And then I thought that it should be no surprise that the founding fathers would incorporate the right to keep and bear arms into the US Constitution. After all, most of them were 18th century Saxons.
So, here's to freedom!

Deacon,
That looks like one dangerous stuffed bear--I haven't seen many with their own Model 1928 Thompson Submachine Guns! I am always having to make sure that my daughter's bears don't arm themselves with escrima sticks, though--they are sneaky and not to be trusted:rolleyes:
I still don't trust a certain forum member's bunny slippers, either--treachous, little, fluffy ninjas if you ask me:D

Once in Upstate NY on the way to some Moutain, we were at a Honey farm and they had a Bear in a medium sized cage. These crazy people were like throwing bottles at it and stuff. The bear went crazy and started to ram the cage. You dont want to gear a Bear Angry.
That place had great Honey Though.

That place had great Honey Though.Would bet it was Widmark Farm. If so, you might have been headed to Mohonk, Lake Minnewaska, or to The Trapps if you're into rock climbing. Back when I was commuting from Pine Bush to Albany I use to pass that place every day on the way to work. I especially like their buckwheat honey on hot cereal or drizzled over thinly sliced apples, but all of their honey is excellent. Think a combination of political correctness and too many new neighbors who objected to the odors finally put an end to the bear exhibits.
