I am planning on getting a CF Dragonfly.Does anyone know where I can get a set of CF grips for my 1911?Does anyone make them,they would match up really well to CF knives.

Glad to see I'm not the only insomniac online at this hour!

The link below has a photo of a Kimber with CF grips. They look absolutely beautiful. As far as "matching" goes, looks are everything! I think you're on to something here!!

You may want to do a search on www.google.com for "carbon fiber grips 1911" to find sources of CF grips. Anyway

There is a company that makes or used to make custom stocks (grips) for pistols called Herrett stocks. I believe they are located in pacific northwest maybe Oregon area. I think they mainly do wood but you might give it a try. My dad had a Ruger Mark 1 with Herrett stocks, (boy I miss that gun) that was awesome. The way they fit your hand is incredible!!! I think Herrett may have died. I thought I read that some where. Hopefully he'll write me back and say " the rumors of my death are greatly exagerated". Herrett stocks are worth the price at any cost!!!
