Just a silly thread to show our passion for Spyderco knives:

So, I am pretty sure SpydieFolk consider the SpyderSnap music to their ears...

What is the closest competitor to this "musical" Snap, in your own opinion?

Other sounds I love, aside from the SpyderSnap: Walking on dry leaves, Mick Jagger's voice (ok, yes, I've had a crush on him for as long as I remember), falling water, Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar... I think these are the closest competitors in my own opinion.

Well let me think... besides a sales person on the other end of a free phone call saying "Yes I have that Spyderco model in stock and can ship today" (great sound)
1) The sound of a guitar case being unlatched
2) Stratocasters and Telecasters played through tube amps in general.(Mick is cool Kahz)
3) Bolt action anything being cycled
4) Merlin engines combined with the dopler effect
5)The sound of a screaming drag on a fishing reel
6)water noises from streams and waves
7) Eagles, Hawks, Ravens, Songbirds
8)my wife and childs' vioce(most of the time anyway)
9) Boss saying "Good Job", followed by "Cha Ching!!"

The slide guitar of Chris Rea, the rolling wall of noise that is Metalica, The inocent / whacky things my young nephew comes out with, thunder (not the group), hard rain and wind (when I'm indoors).

BTW
What Spyder snap where you refering to ?
I seem to have a veritable orchestra of Spydies. The "CLACK" of the large Calypso, the "Snack" of the Military, the "click" of the SS Delica, and the sh-nick" of the Viele. The rest have their own sounds too, but these are the most noticable.
